First Federated Church participated in the 2006 Beaverdale Fall Festival Parade. A lot of great volunteers served to make the church's float in the parade such a great success on Saturday, September 23.Todd Pierce and a crew designed and built the float. Kay Pierce and her crew organized the walkers and the items distributed (candy, etc.). Nancy Jones and Womens Association served refreshments in our parking lot where the parade forms up. Bob Heemsbergen provided the truck and hayrack. Many played a part in making this one of the biggest parades in Iowa with over 105 entries.
